2. System composition
According to whether the components in the charging system are on the car, they can be divided into two categories: off-board charging components and on-board charging components.
Off-board charging parts
1. Portable charging cable and its charging head (level 1 AC charging)
2. Charging pile with charging cable (secondary AC charging)
3. A charging plug that can be inserted into the car charging interface
Car charging parts
1. Car charger (a device that rectifies alternating current into direct current)
2. Car charging interface
There are two types of fast charging (DC charging) and slow charging (AC charging). The interface has a protective locking cover to prevent the interface from being polluted by water and dust. The setting method of this interface also varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and is generally set on the side of the vehicle, such as the fuel filler of a traditional vehicle or the front or side of the vehicle.
3. Charging indicator
It is used to display charging status information. Common charging indicators include a single LED indicator and a C-shaped optical fiber LED indicator, which are mostly located near the charging interface. There are generally 4 types of indicator light states:
Charging (solid red light)
Charging completed (green light is always on)
Charging interrupted (yellow light is always on)
Charging failure (the light does not light up)
